For obvious reasons we were not privy to the technological backend that powers the Shenoa Diamonds website. However, we were able to glean a little more about the general steps that are initiated well before any software or technology has a chance to be implemented to the Shenoa & Company website. It was interesting to be able to go behind the scenes and from a layperson's point of view get a glimpse at the process that takes place before any new technology is added to the site. I was intrigued by the exhaustive battery of tests by the IT team and a select panel of customers and industry experts to find and cure any glitches before that technology is permitted to go on the website. "This is just a snippet of the due diligence that our IT department is involved with on a daily basis" smiles Blane Perun, VP of Online Marketing of Shenoa Diamonds.
The IT team seemed enthralled by the new technologies that have been developed specifically for the jewelry industry and what the average person would consider an arduous task, the IT team has embraced the opportunity to be the technology thought leaders for Shenoa & Company and the entire jewelry industry.
